Can you Help please?

The Kent Battle of Britain Museum Trust, registered Charity No. 285738, the largest Museum in the world on this Battle is always seeking contact with families of all Allied and Axis personnel who participated/served? in the Battle of Britain of 1940.

We are also constantly expanding our range of of exhibits so that the legacy of that historic battle can be learnt by current and future generations. If you have any artifacts, memorabilia, documents or photos from that period.

10 September 2020 - 32 Sqn pilots

For a exciting forthcoming project at the Kent Battle of Britain Museum, we would like to contact relatives of the following 32 Sqn Battle of Britain pilots:

F/O Rupert Frederick SYMTHE, born 11 June 1916, Killiney, County Dublin, Ireland.

F/Lt John Ernest PROCTOR, born 15 July 1913. Post WW2, settled in South Africa where he died in 1991.

F/Lt Peter Mervill GARDNER, born 1 July 1918, Grimsby. Post WW2, settled in the Bahamas, died 23 May 1984.

F/O Douglas Hamilton GRICE, born 15 June 1919, Wallasey Village, Cheshire. Post WW2, lived at Hunters Green, Chalfont St Giles, died 24 March 1998.
